Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to be a good swimmer?
No, but for the deep class you need to be confident in deep water. For beginners I recommend being on the end or at the front of the class so you can easily hold onto the wall if you need to. SynchroFit will increase your fitness levels so you’ll find you need to rest less and less. A 45 minute/hour lesson flies by. Do I need to have synchro experience? Complete beginners are very welcome. We start with basic synchro moves and build on them each week. You don't need to start at the beginning of the month either. It is easy to catch up even in week four as the moves are refreshed each week at the start of the class. What should I wear/bring? It’s good to have googles and a hat if you have long hair. And a nose clip – this is essential for going under water comfortably. I sell both hats and noseclips poolside. I would also recommend bringing a bottle of water as it is good to keep hydrated. You don't realise how hard you are working when you are in the water. |
